  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 8 c. pecans

    Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch pan with 2-inch sides.

    Beat egg whites.

    Add sugar.

    Fold in pecans.

    Add to pan with melted butter; mix well.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour.

    Pour out onto wax paper.

    Break apart; cool.
