  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • salt

    Put butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Melt at 325° in oven.

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Fold in sugar.

    Add nuts and stir.

    Put in buttered pan.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
