  • 6 qt. popped popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 lb. mixed nuts or pecans

Directions

    Put popcorn and nuts in extra large baking pan.

    Grease the bottom of a large roaster, melt margarine.
  3. 3
    Add Karo and brown sugar.
  4. 4
    Bring to a good boil.

    Remove from stove and add soda. Mix well, being careful since this hot mixture will foam up.

    Pour over corn mixture and stir.

    Bake in 250° oven for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes.
