- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Cut squash crosswise into 1-inch thick slices; discard seeds. Arrange in a single layer in a shallow baking pan.

2Season with salt and pepper.

3Cover; bake at 350° for about 40 minutes.

4In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and water; cook and stir until bubbly.

5Spoon over squash.

6Continue baking uncovered for 15 minutes more.
