- 2 1/2 c. walnuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Bake walnuts for 15 minutes at 375°.

2Combine sugar, water, cinnamon and salt in saucepan; cook over medium heat to soft ball stage.

3Do not stir.

4Remove from heat; add vanilla and nuts. Stir until mixture becomes creamy and sticks to the nuts.

5Dump on cookie sheet and spread as it cools.
