Ingredients

  • 2 c. walnuts
  • 5 Tbsp. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Toast walnuts in a 350° oven for 8 minutes.

    Mix other ingredients and stir well.

    Place lid on pan and cook until syrup reaches a boil.

    Remove lid and simmer until it reaches a soft ball stage.

    Put in nuts; stir until all are coated and spread on waxed paper.

    Separate before cooling.
