Ingredients

  • 2 medium size yams, baked
  • 1 c. crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Remove skin from baked potatoes.

    Slice as desired.

    Pour crushed pineapple with juice over potatoes.

    Sprinkle sugar over. Place sliced butter over or on top.

    Add vanilla.

    Add grated orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Place in 350° oven 1 or 1 1/2 hours, until candied and brown.
