  • 1 (2 layer) pkg. Duncan Hines devil's food cake mix
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
  • 3 small plain Hershey candy bars (frozen), chopped

Directions

    Combine cake mix, milk, eggs, oil and pudding mix in bowl; mix well.

    Pour into 3 greased 9-inch round cake pans.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.

    Cool in pan for several minutes.

    Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
