- 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (1 lb.) can nuts or peanuts
Directions

1Gradually add sugar to beaten egg whites and beat until stiff. Melt butter on jelly roll pan.

2Coat nuts with sugar mixture; place on pan, spreading evenly.

3Bake in a 325° oven for 30 minutes. Stir with a fork every 10 minutes.

4Cool and break into pieces. Yields one pound.
