Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. walnuts halves or pecan halves

Directions

    Combine sugar, sour cream and corn syrup in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

    Continue to cook over low heat to soft ball stage.

    Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
  4. 4
    Cool to lukewarm, heating until mixture loses gloss. Add nuts quickly. Stir until coated.

    Spread on foil.

    Break apart when cool.

    May be frozen.
