Ingredients

  • 1 gal. beets, cooked, peeled and sliced (or left whole if small enough)
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 3 1/2 c. water
  • 3 c. sugar

Directions

    Bring to a boil the sugar, water and vinegar in an enameled pan.

    Put cooked, sliced beets in the hot syrup.
  3. 3
    Simmer together for 10 minutes until hot enough to can.
