- 1 gal. beets, cooked, peeled and sliced (or left whole if small enough)
- 3 c. vinegar
- 3 1/2 c. water
- 3 c. sugar
Directions

1Bring to a boil the sugar, water and vinegar in an enameled pan.

2Put cooked, sliced beets in the hot syrup.

3Simmer together for 10 minutes until hot enough to can.
