  • 1 gal. water
  • 1 gal. sliced okra
  • 4 Tbsp. canning salt
  • 8 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Bring one gallon water to boil, add salt and vinegar.

    Add sliced okra and bring it all back to boil.
  3. 3
    Can okra in hot sterilized jars.
  4. 4
    When you are ready to fry it, pour into strainer and rinse real well under cold running water; then drain and roll in flour or meal and fry.
