- 1 gal. water
- 1 gal. sliced okra
- 4 Tbsp. canning salt
- 8 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Bring one gallon water to boil, add salt and vinegar.

2Add sliced okra and bring it all back to boil.

3Can okra in hot sterilized jars.

4When you are ready to fry it, pour into strainer and rinse real well under cold running water; then drain and roll in flour or meal and fry.
