  • 9 1/2 qt. string beans, strung and broken into pieces
  • water
  • 1 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. salt

Directions

    Cover string beans with water.

    Add vinegar, sugar and salt. Boil 20 minutes.

    Pack into sterilized hot jars.

    Put lids on tight.

    Keep out of drafts.

    Bottles will seal.
