  • 1 lb. round steak, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 pkg. mushroom gravy mix
  • 1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 4 scallions, sliced diagonally into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce, drained
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 c. dry Minute rice

Directions

    Brown beef in oil in large skillet, 5 minutes.

    Combine water and gravy mix.

    Add to beef with red pepper, water chestnuts, scallions, soy sauce and ginger.
