Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 12 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 12 cup cholesterol-free fat free egg substitute
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 5 cups French bread cubes (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 12 cup fat-free caramel topping, warmed

Directions

    Heat oven to 350*F.

    Spray 9 inch round baking dish with nonstick spray.

    Mix all ingredients except bread and caramel topping in a large bowl with wire whisk until smooth.

    Fold in bread and pour into baking dish.

    Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.

    Cut into wedges and drizzle topping over each serving.
