- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramel kisses
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 unpeeled medium sized apples
- 1 c. finely chopped nuts, if desired
Directions

1Place caramels, water and salt into top of double boiler over boiling water until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth, about 10 minutes.

2Stick wooden skewer in the top where stem should be.

3Dip apples in caramel.

4Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Set aside on wax paper-lined cookie sheet.

5If caramel should become stiff, add a few drops of water.

6Chill until caramel coating is firm.
