- 14 small apples
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Wash and dry apples.

2Remove stems.

3Insert a wooden skewer into stem of each apple.

4In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter.

5Stir in sugar, corn syrup and dash of salt.

6Mix well.

7Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly for 12 to 15 minutes.

8Remove from heat; add vanilla.

9Dip each apple into caramel.

10Turn to coat.

11Set on buttered baking sheet.

12Chill.
