- 1 bag Kraft caramels
- 8 Tbsp. milk
- 2 sticks plus 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 1/8 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. walnuts
Directions

1Melt caramels and milk in double boiler.

2Mix together oleo, sugar, flour, soda, salt and oatmeal.

3Put 1/2 the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan (don't pat down).

4Bake 10 minutes at 350°.

5Add 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips and walnuts (chopped).

6Pour caramel mix on top, then sprinkle rest of dough on top.

7Bake 15 to 20 minutes more.
