- 14 oz. pkg. caramels
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 2 c. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Melt caramels and 1/3 cup milk over low heat.

2Combine cake mix, margarine and remaining 1/3 cup milk.

3Pat half the dough into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.

5Pour the melted caramel mixture over the baked dough.

6Sprinkle the walnuts over the caramel mixture and then sprinkle the chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls the remaining dough to cover mixture.

7Bake at 350° for 18 minutes.

8Cool before cutting.
