- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 23 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 12 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 12 cups boiling water
Directions

1In medium mixing bowl sift flour

2Mix in the baking powder as well as the salt and sugar and 1 tablespoons cocoa.

3Sift again.

4Add the milk and the butter and vanilla.

5Mix until smooth.

6Turn into greased casserole dish.

7In small mixing bowl combine the brown sugar and cocoa.

8Sprinkle this mixture over batter in pan.

9Pour the boiling water over top of mix.

10Bake in 350 oven for 30-40 minutes.

11Serve warm by itself or with milk or cream or ice cream.

12Also good served cold.
