- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 50 unwrapped caramels
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Mix first three ingredients together.

2Melt caramel and evaporated milk in double boiler or in microwave on Low heat. Place 1/2 of cake batter in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.

4Remove from oven; sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over cooked batter.

5Pour melted caramel mixture over all.

6Drop rest of cake mix on.

7Bake additional 15 minutes at 350°.
