- 2 sticks butter
- 1 pkg. dark brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- dash of salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix butter and brown sugar in top of double boiler and melt. Cool the mixture and add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.

2Add flour and baking powder.

3Mix well.

4Stir in pecans, salt and vanilla.

5Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

6Bake in 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

7Let cool; dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
