- 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 1 c. chocolate chips or any amount you desire
Directions

1Melt caramels on low heat with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Grease 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Mix cake mix (powder only) with 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 3/4 cup melted butter.

2Spread half the dough on bottom of pan and bake 6 minutes at 350°.

3Take out and sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips.

4Spread the melted caramel over that.

5Drop spoonfuls of the rest of the dough over it. Return to oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes.

6Refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
