- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour or cake flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Beat after each is added.

4Add flour to baking powder and and add to butter mixture alternately with milk. Pour in 3 layer pans and bake at 375° for about 25 minutes or until done.

5Ice with Caramel Icing:
