Caramel Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. plain flour or cake flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Beat after each is added.

    Add flour to baking powder and and add to butter mixture alternately with milk. Pour in 3 layer pans and bake at 375° for about 25 minutes or until done.

    Ice with Caramel Icing:
