- Duncan Hines golden butter cake mix, cooked as directed (3 layers)
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 small can Carnation milk
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1/3 box brown sugar (add later)
- 1 tsp. vanilla (add later)
Directions

1Mix brown sugar, oleo, 1/2 box powdered sugar and milk.

2Bring to rolling boil.

3Remove from heat.

4Add remaining powdered sugar and vanilla.

5Stir until thick enough to spread.

6If it gets too thick, add 1 teaspoon of water.
