- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Mix cake mix with margarine and 2/3 cup milk.

2Pour half the batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350°.

3While batter bakes, melt caramels with remaining milk. Remove cake from oven, pour caramel mixture over and sprinkle with nuts and chips.

4Add remaining half of batter and return to oven and bake 20 minutes.

5Frost with coconut pecan icing.
