Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 large can Carnation milk
  • 1 bottle white Karo syrup
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Put sugar, Karo syrup and margarine in saucepan.

    Boil until it spins a thread from the spoon.

    Pour in milk.

    Stir until candy thermometer reads 240°.

    Put in salt, vanilla and nuts.

    Pour in greased pan and cool.
  7. 7
    Cut in squares.
