- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar (to brown)
- 1 c. milk
- 2/3 stick margarine
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 to 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Have all ingredients at room temperature.

2Boil milk and 2 cups sugar over low heat.

3Add browned sugar.

4Melt margarine and add to mixture.

5Cook until mixture forms a soft ball when poured into cold water.

6Add nuts and vanilla.

7Set aside to cool.

8Then beat until smooth and thick.

9Pour into buttered dish.

10Cut into squares.
