- 1 cup butter
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup light corn syrup
- 1 (12 ounce) box Chex cereal
- 2 brown paper bags
Directions

1Put two paper bags together (one inside the other).

2Pour the entire box of Chex into the bag(s) and set aside.

3Melt the butter, sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan on med-high heat until boiling, stir constantly.

4Boil for 1 1/2 minutes.

5Pour the mixture on top of the Chex in the bag, roll down the top of the bag and shake well.

6Put the bag into the microwave for 20 seconds, remove and shake.

7Repeat step #6 four times.

8Spread the Chex onto a cookie sheet (works best on one with edges), lightly sprayed with butter-flavored Pam.

9Stir frequently as it cools, so it doesn't harden into one big clump.
