- 2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 12 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 23 cup butter

Directions

1Beat first three ingredients in mixer.

2Press on bottom of an 13x9 inch pan.

3Place pecans over crust.

5In saucepan combine 2/3 c butter and 1/2 c br.

7Cook over med heat, stir constantly.

8When it reaches boiling point, boil and stir for one minute longer.

9Pour evenly over pecans and crust.

10Bake for 18 to 22 minutes at 350 degrees until caramel layer is bubbly.

11Remove and sprinkle with chips.

12When slightly melted, spread chips with knife.

13Cool and cut into bars.
