- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
- 1 c. margarine
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 6 qt. popcorn
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup, margarine, salt and cream of tartar. Boil over medium heat for 5 minutes.

2Remove from heat and add baking soda.

3Stir into popcorn until hard, 2 minutes.

4Stir in roaster.

5Spread on two greased cookie sheets.

6Bake 1 hour at 200°.
