  • 14 c. popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine the brown sugar, oleo, corn syrup and salt; heat to boiling.

    Boil for 5 minutes in a large kettle.

    After removing from heat, mix in the soda and vanilla; pour this mixture over popped corn.

    Place in shallow pan; bake for 1 hour at 200°, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Cool and break.
