- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 2 c. brown sugar (do not pack too tightly)
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. or less salt
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Mix and boil 6 minutes

2the first 3 ingredients.

3Remove from heat.

4Add last 3 ingredients.

5Stir until foamy.

6Pour over 5 to 6 quarts popped corn.

7Mix well.

8Spread over 2 (12 x 18-inch) jelly roll pans.

9Bake for 1 hour in 225°

10oven, stirring occasionally.

11Remove from oven and cool, stirring a bit at first so it doesn't stick to pan as it cools.

12Other large similar pans can be used.
