  • 1/2t Baking Soda
  • 2t Vanilla Extract

    Bring the milk to a boil in a heavy saucepan. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until the sugar completely dissolves. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thick and syrupy, about 20 minutes. The mixture should be reduced to about 1/4 it's original amount.
