- 4 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Place popped corn into roasting size pan.

2Mix sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in saucepan and cook gently on medium heat, stirring constantly.

3When begins to boil, cook 5 minutes longer.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in soda and vanilla (dissolved together) until mixture foams.

6Pour over popcorn, stirring to coat.

7Bake 1 hour at 200°, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and crumble into small pieces.
