  • 7 qt. popped corn
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put popped corn in large buttered roaster.

    Boil margarine, sugar and syrup for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and add soda, salt and vanilla.

    It will foam.

    Pour over corn.

    Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring it every 15 minutes.
