- 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. peanuts or pecans
- 7 1/2 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Combine brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; boil 5 minutes.

2Beat in soda vigorously.

3Stir in peanuts.

4Place corn in a large shallow pan.

5Pour sugar mixture over corn; stir.

6Bake at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

7Yield: 7 1/2 quarts.
