- 5 to 6 qt. popped corn (salted or unsalted)
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt (if corn is unsalted)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Heat the margarine, sugar and syrup in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.

2Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

3Add salt, vanilla and baking soda.

4Pour over corn and bake at 250° for 1 hour.

5Stir every 15 minutes.
