- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- dash of salt
- pinch of cream of tartar
- 8 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Mix sugar, syrup and butter in heavy saucepan.

2Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat; add soda, cream of tartar and salt and stir.

4Immediately pour over popped corn and mix thoroughly.

5Place in large pan.

6Bake at 200° for 1 hour.
