  • 6 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • pinch of cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except for baking soda and popcorn.

    Boil for 5 minutes.

    Take off stove and add baking soda.

    Put over popcorn and stir to coat well.

    You can add peanuts to popcorn. Pour on cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Cool and break into pieces.
