  • 6 qt. popped popcorn
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Bring butter, brown sugar, salt and syrup to a boil; cook about 5 minutes over medium heat.

    Remove from stove.

    Stir in vanilla and soda.

    Stir until foamy.

    Pour over popped corn.

    Put in greased pan and bake at 250° for one hour in oven, then remove, then break up while hot.
