- 1/2 c. unpopped corn
- 1 1/2 c. salted peanuts
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
- 3/4 c. butter
Directions

1Pop the corn.

2Put into a bowl. Add nuts.

3In 2-quart saucepan, combine sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, water, vinegar and salt.

4Heat to a boil on medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir until 260° on candy thermometer.

5Reduce heat to low. Stir in butter until melted.

6Pour syrup over corn and nuts in thin stream, stirring until coated. Spread on buttered sheet to cool.
