Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 6 qt. popped corn
  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. dark syrup
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Boil oleo, brown sugar, dark syrup and cream of tartar together for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Mix well and pour over popped corn and put in oven for 1 hour at 250°.

    Stir once or twice while cooking.
