- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
- 2 qt. popped popcorn (8 c.)
- 1/3 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. unsalted peanuts or pecans
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Generously grease a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.

3Blend sugar, corn syrup, butter flavor Crisco and vanilla.

4Cook over medium heat 2 minutes or until light and foamy, stirring constantly.

5Remove from heat.

6Add popcorn, tossing to coat.

7Spread in greased pan.

8Bake for 8 minutes. Turn and toss.

9Return to oven an additional 7 minutes.

10Cool in pan.

11Break into bite size pieces.
