- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. soda
- pinch of cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Bring the brown sugar oleo and Karo syrup to a rolling boil and cook for 5 minutes.

2Add the soda, cream of tartar and salt. Mix well.

3Pour over 7 to 8 quarts popped corn.

4Place in 2 buttered cookie sheets and bake at 200° for 1 hour.

5Stir a couple of times.

6Peanuts may be added.
