- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 heaping tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- approximately 5 qt. popped corn
Directions

1In heavy, large pot, stir and cook sugar, Karo and water to 290° on candy thermometer.

2Add butter, soda and salt; stir, then pour over popped corn and toss until well coated.

3Spread on waxed paper to cool.

4Break apart into pieces and store in airtight container.
