Ingredients

  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 heaping tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • approximately 5 qt. popped corn

Directions

    In heavy, large pot, stir and cook sugar, Karo and water to 290° on candy thermometer.

    Add butter, soda and salt; stir, then pour over popped corn and toss until well coated.

    Spread on waxed paper to cool.

    Break apart into pieces and store in airtight container.
