  • 1 c. oleo or butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. white Karo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 6 to 8 qt. unsalted popped corn

Directions

    Bring oleo

    or butter, brown sugar, salt and white Karo to a boil

    stirring.

    Boil 5 more minutes without stirring, then add

    vanilla

    and baking soda.

    Pour over unsalted popped corn. Stir

    well, then pour into large flat pan. Bake for 50 minutes at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Store in dry containers and cover.
