- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients in large saucepan.

2Bring to a boil for 3 minutes, stirring often.

3Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda.

4(It will foam.)

5Stir well and pour over about 2 large skillets of popcorn.

6May add nuts.

7Divide mixture onto cookie sheets and bake at 200° for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
