- 6 qt. (3 bags microwave) popcorn
- 1 c. margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix butter or margarine, white syrup and brown sugar in a saucepan.

2Bring to boiling; let boil for 6 minutes, stirring all the time.

3Take off heat and add cream of tartar, salt, baking soda and vanilla.

4Stir until foamy and pour over popcorn.

5Spread in cookie sheet after mixing well and coating corn.

6Bake at 200° for 1 hour.
