- 8 or 9 qt. popped corn (less corn the better)
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Boil all ingredients except corn and soda 5 minutes, mixing well and stirring occasionally.

2Remove from heat and add soda. Stir in quickly.

3Pour over popped corn, mixing well.

4Put in two large flat pans and place in 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring two or three times.

5Store in tightly closed container.
